It is increasingly clear that influencing the gut microbiome has the potential to revolutionize the management of not only infectious disease states, but a broad range of other conditions in which the microbiome plays a critical role. For this reason, the Gut Microbiome Conference was conceived as a mechanism for bringing together scientists, physicians, and other health care providers with a direct research and/or treatment interest in modulating the gut microbiome to improve human health. The 2015 Conference will be held September 25-27, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach, California. This 1.5-day educational conference is designed to meet the educational needs of health care professionals who treat and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions with an interest in modulating the gastrointestinal microbiome for therapeutic effect.

The Chronic Liver Disease Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational organization dedicated to increasing awareness of the effect of chronic liver disease (CLD) in the United States. Educational programs are designed so physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists have information about the latest medical developments and their implications for patient management. Information is drawn from academia, medical societies, government health agencies, and the pharmaceutical industry, and is integrated into balanced, up-to-date educational programs and materials for health professionals.

More than 12,000 physicians from 86 countries are members of the ACG. The mission of the American College of Gastroenterology shall be to advance the medical treatment and scientific study of gastrointestinal disorders. The College will strive to serve the evolving needs of physicians in the delivery of high quality scientific, humanistic, clinical, ethical, and cost-effective health care to gastroenterology patients.

The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis. It was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D. The CCFA’s mission is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.

Founded in 1897, the AGA has grown to include more than 16,000 members from around the globe who are involved in all aspects of the science, practice and advancement of gastroenterology. The AGA Institute administers the practice, research and educational programs of the organization.
